What is the game?
Most people are familiar with Trivial Pursuit in some way. There are many versions of this game, each of them challenging in their own right and enticing for people who love competitive trivia games. This version is no different but of course focuses entirely on the F.R.I.E.N.D.S Television series. This game can be taken and used as an expansion to the original Trivial Pursuit Board game, however it can also be used as a stand-alone trivia game in a travel-type or almost pocket sized version.
Personally we played this game stand-alone over a few drinks with our friends and really enjoyed ourselves but let me tell you, it was definitely not a walk in the park!
What do you get?
As stated before, this game is compact and a perfect option to take on a car trip, bust out at a family event or to bring to a friends place. Due to its pocket-sized nature, this does not come with the Trivial Pursuit board game mat or board pieces (the coloured wedges) but does not require them to play. With that said, it does not mean you cannot incorporate these questions within the Official Trivial Pursuit Board Game.
The contents of this game are as Follows:
- 1 x 6 sided die - matching the 6 x Trivial Pursuit wedge colours.
- 1 x Rules and Contents card
- 1 x Wedge Holder
- 100 x Question cards (6 potential questions per card) - therefore 600 questions to challenge yourselves with.
- 1 x Portable Case
Our Findings
As the title of this blog suggested - for me personally this was very difficult!
Going into a game like this I had mixed thoughts about the difficulty of the questions, but this is far more challenging than I had anticipated. Our game night consisted of 5 players, 2 of which we could consider as F.R.I.E.N.D.S buffs or fanatics. Those 2 fans had a much easier, yet still very challenging time answering and debating the right answers.
Each question card contains 6 questions, and these are categorized by Seasons of the series. You can see this in more detail in the image below.
Many of the questions are 'not your obvious questions' as told by one of our players and TV show champions. The cards contain questions that you really need to think about, and we often found ourselves having discussions around them after the answers were revealed, or even sometimes whilst the challenger was still thinking!
In summary - for myself... I need to watch way more of the show haha.

This has been one of our best selling items since day one. It's a great gift for others simply because of its compact size and cheap price!!
